Create a graphic example of translucency.

Hints for success

These clues will help convey translucency to the viewer

  1. Cast shadow and shaded sides of the object convey back lighting
  2. Saturated color in translucent area
  3. Some evidence of transmitted light, similar to stained glass effect, falling on areas which would otherwise be in shade
